99 Typewriter Drawings explores offbeat collisions of image and text. Each of these drawings began with a text fragment transcribed from a wide range of sources, such as Joseph Campbell, Bruce Lee, Andy Warhol, and self-help books, and was finished with an improvised ink drawing.
More than half of the Typewriter Drawings were also captured as time-lapse recordings in color and sound that were edited and uploaded to the web. The published videos, which are independent artworks, are linked via QR Code in each spread.
99 Typewriter Drawings is a full-color catalog that compiles the best Typewriter Drawings from the past year. The book features full-scale reproductions of 99 drawings and QR-code links to the videos.
